In this Level 4 role, you will provide advanced clinical expertise, mentorship, and operational leadership across a diverse caseload, supporting acute services.What You''ll Be DoingThe Team Leader is responsible for the leadership, guidance and line management of the Acute Care team in collaboration with their manager.They provide clinical supervision and support and clinical expertise within occupational therapy services for the delivery of safe, timely, compassionate and high quality person-centered care. They are involved in planning, implementing, evaluating and reporting on services. They identify opportunities for improvement in clinical practice, service delivery, develop and lead ongoing quality improvement activities with other staff.Where You''ll Be WorkingBankstown-Lidcombe Hospital is located in the city of Bankstown and is in one of the most multicultural local government areas (LGA) in Australia. View our application guide for information on how to respond to criteria and improve your application.Demonstrated high level clinical expertise and knowledge of a wide range of clinical conditions in Acute CareDemonstrated experience leading quality improvement processes and involvement in service evaluation and developmentDemonstrated experience implementing evidence into practice and knowledge and/or experience in researchExcellent time management skills and an ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary teamDemonstrated experience in the management, clinical supervision and mentoring of staff and/or studentsDemonstrated leadership skills with the ability to effectively adapt to ongoing change to achieve health service outcomesDemonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills including interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills and computer literacy in a range of programsApplicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver''s license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment.
