We believe in fairness and choose to be honest, transparent and authentic in everything we do.Key Responsibilities:Safely execute electrical maintenanceMaintain statutory electrical inspections and records as required by WMAComplete fault finding and repairs of electrical systems and equipmentComplete Inspections to identify faults and raise and complete notifications and Work Orders in SAP PM for repairsIsolate equipment for maintenance and production requirementsComplete quality handovers with oncoming crews and other maintenance teams including contractors across both ports as requiredJob Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:NSW Electrical LicenseAt least 3 years experience as an Electrician in a heavy industrial manufacturing or mining environmentPLC fault finding and programming experienceAbility to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematicsInstrumentation cert 4and HV switching competency are highly regarded.Confined Space and Work at Heights Qualifications or willingness to obtain.Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)Founded in 1871, Weir is a world leading engineering business with a purpose to make mining operations smarter, more efficient and sustainable.
