We are proud to have a diverse team from over 70 different countries and more than 90 different ethnicities from across our sites.Come and join us at Vulcan, we would love to have you.What you will be responsible for:Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the mining sector, with a focus on offering wear solutions to reduce clients'' ultimate costs.Maintain a strong sales pipeline through lead generation, networking, and conducting onsite trials to demonstrate product benefitsBuilding and nurturing relationships with mine owners, design consultants, EPCs, OEMs, and service contractors.Developing a solid understanding of our semi-technical steel plate products and their application in the mining industry. A background in metallurgy, fabrication, or welding is useful, though not essentialDelivering compelling sales presentations and conducting product demonstrations to showcase the benefits and features of our steel platesRequirementsHigh school qualifications are essential, and degrees will be considered, but your attitude and energy are what matter mostYou''ve got a proven track record in B2B sales, ideally in the mining or industrial services sector. Familiarity with steel products, especially wear applications, is a big plusStrong communication and interpersonal skills are key, along with the ability to solve problems and negotiate.
