We are seeking a dedicated Enrolled Nurse to join our team at Wattleglen, Sale, Victoria, to provide exemplary nursing care to our residents. This is a night shift position available for 7 nights a fortnight. The role: As an Enrolled Nurse (EN) at Respect, you will deliver safe and competent clinical nursing care to residents while adhering to standards set by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote residents'' health and well-being. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Gather comprehensive histories from residents and/or family members to identify care needs, participating in admissions and ongoing assessments. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation reflecting care delivery. Complete ACFI assessments and documentation as required, contributing to income maximization. Assist in implementing, contributing to, and evaluating resident care plans under supervision. Administer medications responsibly, including ordering, storage, and documentation, following organizational policies. All candidates must meet legislative requirements for Aged Care Worker Screening to ensure suitability for aged care industry employment. Essential: Successful completion of a minimum Diploma of Nursing or equivalent. Current registration with AHPRA. Knowledge of the Residential Classification Scale and Standards for Aged Care. Current National Police Certificate or ability to obtain one. Desirable: Knowledge of government standards for aged care delivery. Understanding of the Commonwealth Aged Care Funding Instrument.
