Role Purpose This role involves leading and motivating a team of HR professionals to deliver excellent services across the employee lifecycle, from attraction to retention. You will work closely with the General Manager - People & Capability, senior leaders, and executive teams to align HR activities with organizational goals and timelines. Key Responsibilities and Skills Operational HR Excellence: Lead HR projects and activities, develop and implement HR strategies, oversee daily HR operations, provide HR advice, and improve HR information systems. Talent Acquisition & Development: Drive talent acquisition strategies, ensure diversity and inclusion, oversee end-to-end recruitment, monitor trends, and lead organizational development initiatives. Leadership: Manage and support a team of HR professionals, foster a culture of continuous learning, and maintain stakeholder relationships. Skills, Knowledge, and Attributes Extensive knowledge of HR principles, legislation, and practices Strong influencing, collaboration, and communication skills Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage priorities Innovative and proactive problem-solving approach High integrity and commitment to improvement Resilience and proactive work style Analytical and observational skills Experience Minimum 5 years of business partnering experience, stakeholder relationship development, and influence Experience managing priorities and deliverables in complex organizations Experience overseeing HR systems and ensuring data integrity Leadership experience with coaching and motivation skills Qualifications A tertiary HR management qualification or equivalent, enabling member status of the Australian Human Resource Institute.
