Holiday Inn will provide a contemporary, friendly stay emphasizing convenience and value, complemented by Bourke Street Mall''s attractions.Role SummaryAs Duty Manager, you will be central to guest experience, supporting hotel operations with a focus on Front Office. You will oversee daily activities across departments, respond confidently to guest needs, and handle crises. Leading by example, you will empower staff, uphold high standards, and ensure every guest feels welcomed and valued.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in creating and implementing SOPs for the front office, including check-in/check-out, room allocation, inquiries, and reservations.Ensure the front office team delivers excellent service and personal recognition.Greet guests upon arrival, engage with them, respond to complaints, solicit feedback, and foster relationships to improve satisfaction.Conduct routine inspections and address deficiencies promptly.Support other departments as needed to ensure a seamless guest experience.Train colleagues, provide necessary tools and equipment.Assist management with induction, onboarding, training, and development.Manage all hotel operations during shifts.Respond effectively to emergency situations.Candidate RequirementsMinimum three years of guest service/hotel experience, including at least one year in management.Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and manage priorities.Strong problem-solving skills to turn issues into opportunities.Current Responsible Service of Alcohol, First Aid, and CPR certifications (renew as per standards).Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.Full working rights in Australia.What We OfferEnjoy a unique career opportunity with competitive salary, benefits, room discounts, and top-tier training.
