DM3 Logistics / Independent Fuel SolutionsDM3 Logistics is a proudlyWA-owned and operated fuel transport company, and we know our people are thebackbone of our success.With continued growth, were on the lookout for anexperienced Workshop Leading Hand to join our Kalgoorlie-based team.Whats in it for you?$75 flat rate per hour Recognisingyour experience and leadership skills.FIFO 8/6 Roster Work hard, thenenjoy your time off.12-Hour Shifts Maximising yourearning potential.New Workshop Work in a modern,well-equipped facility.Your RoleAs the Workshop Leading Hand, you will be the backbone ofdaily workshop operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly on the floor.Thisis a hands-on leadership role, working alongside the crew while also managingworkflow, safety, and quality control.You will be the key connection betweenthe team and the Workshop Coordinator, ensuring efficiency, compliance, andhigh standards in everything we do.Your key responsibilities include:Overseeing vehicleinspections and testing Ensuring functionality, safety, andefficiency.Planning andcoordinating daily activities Allocating tasks and scheduling jobseffectively.Ensuringhigh-quality workmanship Meeting safety and performance standardswithin set timeframes.Maintainingcompliance Ensuring health, safety, and environmental regulations are strictlyfollowed.Conducting regularworkshop inspections Identifying hazards, defects, and repair needs.Training andmentoring staff Sharing knowledge on safety, best practices, and new technologies.Fostering apositive team culture Encouraging collaboration, productivity, andaccountability.Acting as the keyliaison Keeping clear communication between the crew and the Workshop Coordinator.Identifyingvehicle issues and maintenance plans Ensuring proactive solutions tokeep the fleet running.Reviewing andsigning off on service sheets Maintaining accurate records andcompliance.Providingafter-hours breakdown phone assistance Supporting urgent repair needswhen required.What Were Looking ForTradeQualification (Mechanical/Heavy Vehicle preferred)Experience in asimilar role (2+ years)Strong knowledgeof heavy vehicles & transport equipmentExperience withtruck & trailer repairs (road transport industry preferred)Relevanttickets/licenses (Confined Space, Working at Heights, HRWL LF EWPdesirable)Ability to pass apre-employment medicalJoin a Team That Values YouIf youre ready for a leadership role thatkeeps you hands-on, working with a great team in a new workshop, on an 8/6 FIFOroster, wed love to hear from you.Have questions?
