We are constantly challenged to produce and deliver the seemingly impossible, but we always succeed because of our teamwork and desire to do the best job possible.About the roleAs Production Manager, youll oversee the production team and lead the delivery of custom projects and retail roll-outs from initial concept to successful completion. Youll be responsible for strategic planning, scheduling and ensuring every project runs on time and within budget.Your position will includeLeading a team of 10+ multi-skilled production staff (sign-writers, cabinet makers, print finishers and more).Adopting the use of Shopvox Production Software.Managing stock levels.Maintaining a high level of safety complying with all OH&S regulations.Ensuring all machinery is operating efficiently and serviced on-time.Limiting overtime by running a tight and efficient schedule.Staff management including casuals and sub-contractors.Proven ability to lead team and manage complex projects under tight deadlines.You will need experience in custom fabrication and/or signage installations.Strong technical understanding of manufacturing and fabrication processes.Minimum 5 years in a similar role.Practical, solutions-focused mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.Be a great problem solver with the ability to spin plates and think on your feet.Great time management and organisational skills.Excellent attention to detail.A passion for the industry and what you do.An ability to work in high pressure situations while maintaining a sense of humour and a smile.Excellent communication and time management skillsMandatesPlease apply through LinkedIn only.You MUST look at our instagram (@boomstudios) and reference one of our projects in your cover letter.
