With 108 offices in 45 countries (13 in Australia & NZ), we leverage our global and industry experience to manage risk while maximising value and performance during the construction and operation of our clients assets.Job ResponsibilitiesDevelop good working relationships with the client project management team and internal cost management team.Gain a good understanding of the processes, tools, and best practice templates used to meet our deliverables.Understand the terminology and ways of working within the retail sector.Provide client with cost advice for budgeting, including cost planning of upcoming projects; this may include site walks within NSW.Understand our scope of service and carry out commission management functions at project level.Assist with the commission management of our commissions to ensure successful delivery of our services.Integrate with full cost management and project management teams in NSW and support when required.Work independently and take responsibility for deliverables.Provide line management and mentorship.QualificationsMinimum requirement is a Degree in Construction.Achievement of Chartered status with AIQS, RICS, or an equivalent recognized body is preferable.4+ years of cost management/estimating experience, preferably in a private practice or construction organization on retail roles.Ability to manage own deliverables and possess good client-facing skills.Outgoing, passionate, driven personality with strong communication skills.Ability to respond swiftly to change with a can do positive attitude.Client-facing, able to work independently, and take the lead.Capable of determining business needs and gaining support from multiple stakeholders.Additional InformationWhy Turner & Townsend?We believe our people are at the heart of our success.
