What You''ll Do As a Senior Security Analyst, you will be an integral part of a specialized security team, leveraging your expertise across multiple technologies and security domains. Your responsibilities include: Incident Response: Handle complex security incidents, gather and document information for forensic purposes, and drive improvements in threat defenses and response processes. Threat Mapping and Analysis: Use intelligence-driven approaches to identify security gaps, research vulnerabilities, understand threat actors, and assess exploit potential. Threat Intelligence: Create and communicate timely, accurate, and actionable threat intelligence using innovative techniques. Threat Hunting: Conduct proactive, intelligence-driven threat hunting activities to detect evolving adversary capabilities. Collaboration and Influence: Work with the business to align with cybersecurity frameworks, assess vendor solutions, and manage vendor performance. Security Assurance: Conduct security assurance activities, contribute to strategic initiatives, and participate in post-incident reviews and business continuity planning. Risk Management: Apply Telstra''s Cyber Risk Management processes, updating policies and standards to reflect evolving threats. Continuous Improvement: Drive security standards improvements through assessments and addressing identified gaps. SME Advice: Provide expert advice for ISO/IEC 27001 certifications and ISMS activities. Commercial Bids and Integration: Contribute to security bids and onboarding of new capabilities and clients.
