This role involves supporting power generation design projects, leading multiple engineering tasks, and contributing to renewable energy and battery energy storage systems (BESS) initiatives.ResponsibilitiesSupport power generation and distribution projects, including renewable energy and BESS.Lead design and engineering tasks, including system protection, motor control, and power system studies.Develop specifications and assist with construction and equipment selection.Mentor junior engineers, develop client relationships, and support marketing activities such as proposals and project planning.Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in project meetings and site visits.QualificationsPreferred:Protection and control design experience, including setting calculations.Experience with instrumentation, controls, and field startup/commissioning.Knowledge of renewable energy projects (PV, BESS, microgrids).Proficiency with electrical design software (ETAP, SKM, EasyPower, etc.) and AutoCAD.Ability to develop project schematics, specifications, and coordinate project activities.Required:Bachelor''s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.Minimum 10 years of electrical design experience.Professional Engineer (PE) license.Strong knowledge of electrical power systems, lighting, and safety systems.Additional InformationHDR is committed to diversity and inclusion.
