The role involves hybrid work, requiring 2-3 days in Melbourne CBD. You will work in a Salesforce Discovery environment, focusing on Vlocity CPQ custom development, data migration, and building APIs for Salesforce E&U Cloud.Candidates should have 3-5 years of experience in Vlocity CPQ and Omni Studio. If you''re motivated to impact and innovate in the Utilities sector, this is an excellent opportunity.If you''re a Salesforce Developer experienced in Omni Studio and Vlocity CPQ, we want to hear from you.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into Salesforce technical solutions using Vlocity CPQ, Omni Studio, and custom development.Assess current processes, identify pain points, and demonstrate how Salesforce CPQ can resolve these.Adapt to changing priorities, address issues professionally, and manage project timelines.Design and develop scalable solutions with Apex, triggers, Visualforce, LWC, and other tools.Work with solution architects and business teams to gather requirements and ensure solutions adhere to best practices.Handle data migration from legacy systems using data loader and other tools.Deploy packages via Visual Studio Code, maintaining backups.Configure Salesforce CPQ features like Product Bundles, Quote Templates, Price Rules, and Approvals.Manage project work, enhancements, and fixes from requirements to deployment, ensuring thorough needs analysis.Configure packaged solutions on Salesforce platform.Design, implement, test, and deploy custom solutions on Salesforce CPQ platform.Develop, test, document, and maintain solutions, integrations, and data migrations.Deliver backlog items in an agile DevOps environment, including UI design, coding, testing, and user training.QualificationsStrong experience in Apex, Flows, Triggers, Vlocity CPQ, LWC, Omni Studio, API integrations, Salesforce Industries data raptor, Omniscript, and Flex cards.Proven experience with Salesforce REST and SOAP APIs and integrating with internal/external systems.At least five years in similar roles supporting robust internal or client CPQ implementations.Deep understanding of Salesforce CPQ capabilities, best practices, and limitations.Ability to understand and translate business processes, products, and pricing into CPQ solutions.Experience with data loader, Salesforce Inspector, and Workbench.Strong Excel skills for data cleansing and uploads.Experience with Visual Studio Code for deployments and backups.Development experience with Vlocity Omni Studio components.Ability to define and execute various testing phases.Excellent collaboration and stakeholder communication skills.Experience building flows with tools like Lucidchart or Visio.3+ years of full lifecycle Salesforce CPQ project experience.Certifications: Salesforce Developer 1, Salesforce Admin, Salesforce Industries CPQ Developer, Salesforce CPQ Specialist, Salesforce Platform Developer II (all mandatory); Omni Studio Developer/Consultant (desired).Additional InformationWhy join us: At NCS Australia, your growth is valued.
