Job descriptionWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented trainee analyst to assist in the preparation of our daily industry newsletter, which provides clear, factual updates to a global audience.This is an excellent opportunity to launch your career in data and industry analysis within a well-respected company, working as part of a small, collaborative team in a professional environment.We are seeking a confident, motivated self-starter with a keen eye for detail and a structured, analytical mindset. As a trainee analyst, you will play a key role in preparing our daily industry newsletter. This includes monitoring a wide range of industry sources, identifying relevant developments, and drafting clear, accurate news alerts that cut through marketing claims and focus on verified information.This role would suit a recent graduate looking to begin a career in data or industry analysis, or a more experienced individual seeking part-time work with a structured, engaging focus. The position is available on either a full-time or part-time basis. While a degree is desirable, it is not essential, the key requirement is the ability to interpret industry developments and communicate them clearly in our factual, professional style. Candidates with a background in economics, chemistry, biology, or related sciences will be at an advantage.Key Responsibilities Monitor and review industry news sources daily Identify relevant developments and communicate key relevant points Draft concise, fact-based news alerts for clients Conduct background research to support news and analyst work Gather and check data from internal and external sources Assist senior analysts with data analysis and project supportKey Skills Required Excellent English reading and writing skills Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking Organised, self-motivated, and able to meet deadlines Curious mindset with a proactive attitude Ability to extract key insights from data and news content Familiarity with Excel or analytical tools (e.g., Power BI, SQL, Python) is a plusWhy Join Us?
