This role can be based at any of our Australian offices (Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane, Adelaide, Canberra) fully remote, or a mix of both, up to you!The Main GameWe believe that responsible business is about people and planet, taking action to reduce harm, promote equity, and contribute to a more sustainable and just future. As our Responsible Business Adviser, youll play a hands-on role in two critical areas: tackling modern slavery and advancing our environmental sustainability goals. A snapshot into what you will be doing:Sustainability and Climate ActionSupport our carbon neutral certification processContribute to achieving our net zero goals and help drive our decarbonisation strategyHelp prepare the firm for mandatory climate-related reportingEngage with suppliers to encourage emissions reduction and sustainable practicesCollect, analyse and report on environmental data to inform strategy, track progress and drive continuous improvementContribute to sustainability initiatives that reduce our environmental footprint and increase awareness across the firmAdvance our responsible procurement strategyHelp integrate sustainable practices across all business operationsModern Slavery ComplianceHelp assess and address the risk of modern slavery in our supply chainConduct supplier due diligence and risk assessments to identify areas of heightened vulnerabilityMaintain and update the modern slavery risk register to support transparency and accountabilityCoordinate education and awareness initiatives that build staff understanding of modern slavery as a human rights issueDraft and contribute to our annual Modern Slavery Statement, ensuring it reflects both our legal obligations and our ethical commitmentsWork closely with procurement, legal and business teams to embed respect for human rights into everyday decision-makingAbout YouThis role is ideal for someone with 3-4 years of experience in ESG, corporate responsibility, legal compliance or a related field. Youll work across teams, engage with suppliers and stakeholders, and drive our program forward, turning good intentions into practical impact.Youre proactive. You take ownership and get things done. Youre comfortable working independently, yet you know when to bring others in.
