We offer a generous incentive plan, including cash and/or share bonuses.About the roleAs we ramp up the underground production run rates, we are looking to grow our underground Technical Services team. Were on the lookout for Production Engineers who are hungry to be part of something new. This is your opportunity to shape what great looks like from the ground up.These roles are permanent opportunities based at our Kathleen Valley Lithium Operation on an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth.With our plant now fully commissioned, we have successfully transitioned into production and are six months into operations with a 20+ year mine life. Our Open Pit continues to operate through 2025 and at current rates is on track to be completed early in 2026. Meanwhile, our underground operations continue with decline and level development in line with plan. The team onsite remain on track to commence underground stoping in early production Q4 FY2025.Reporting to a Senior Production Engineer, youll play a key role in supporting the safe and efficient delivery of our underground mine plan.Responsibilities include:Developing and implementing drill and blast designsMonitoring daily production performance and data trackingContributing to short-term scheduling across development, stoping, services, backfilling, and maintenance activitiesSupporting operational readiness for upcoming stoping activities, targeted for early Q4 FY2025Working closely with technical and operational teams to optimise performance and improve processesPermanent role in a high-growth mining companyBe part of a startup-style operation with the stability of a 20+ year projectWork with a passionate and collaborative team where cultural fit is everythingOpportunity to grow into more senior roles as our operations expandAbout youA degree in Mining Engineering or strong operational experience in underground mining15 years experience in a underground production engineering roleCandidates that have backfill experience will be highly regarded as we are about to bring our paste plant onlineExperience in drill and blast design (Deswik or similar software)Exposure to Ventsim software is a plus but not essentialStrong working knowledge of Australian mining practices, safety, and environmental standardsSolid problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous improvementA collaborative attitude and excellent communication skillsAbility to obtain a National Police Clearance and pass a pre-employment medical and D&A screenWhy LiontownLiontown Resources is a leading ASX-listed provider of responsible battery minerals, driving the clean energy revolution.
