Build Meaningful Connections.CPA are actively recruiting for driven and curious Disability Support Workers across multiple of our SIL houses across Newcastle!Primarily, these positions include in-home based support where you''ll have the opportunity to directly engage with clients and help to build independence through working towards individual goals.Your duties will include:Delivering personalised support by assisting clients with personal care, administrating medication, manual handling.Supporting clients to make their own choices and build skills to be more independent.Building positive relationships with our clients.Transporting clients in your own car.Requirements:Professional Behaviour Support experience or lived experience preferred, however your can-do attitude is key!Someone who embodies CPA values, is client-focused in their approach to care, and driven by the opportunity to make an impact in the lives of people with disabilities.Availability across a variety of shift times, including:Early mornings (6am - 9am)Day shifts (9am - 3/4pm)Afternoons & evenings (12pm onwards)Awake overnights (10pm-6am)A current NSW Driver''s Licence (P2 minimum)Working for us we can offer you a competitive hourly rate and amazing benefitsAttractive hourly rate + Super + Penalty Rates.$100 per year Well-being Allowance to treat yourself!Discounted gym membership for you and your family, using Fitness Passport.Employee Assistance Program.Opportunity to complete a nationally recognised qualification such as Certificate III in Individual Support.Join an industry leader and high performing teamIf that isn''t enough, we also offer exceptional training to support you:You will have comprehensive training throughout your orientation, with ongoing learning and development.
