The Content Manager role reports to a Manager, Interactive Content, and works closely with both the Content Management organisation and external teams to ensure all client interactive deliverables are completed accurately and on time. This includes mastering the content management and publishing operations in support of our clients product launches and other digital marketing programs, including setting up and managing page structures and content in a CMS (Content Management System).Core responsibilities of a Content Manager include executing daily content management tasks, ensuring the quality and accuracy of digital content, and supporting product launches and marketing initiatives from a content perspective. Content Managers will collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external teams, providing effective communication throughout. They are also expected to maintain deep knowledge of evolving client-owned CMS platforms and tools, contribute to documentation, and provide feedback to improve workflows, processes, and CMS structures.Please note: This role is focused on high-quality, fast-paced content production and publishing, requiring strong experience with content management tools and processes. It does not involve content creation, design, or marketing responsibilities.Key Responsibilities:Receive daily and weekly programming instructions from client business units via internal CMS tools.Complete programming tasks according to instructions and deadlines using client tools.Perform publishing previews and build requests through weekly store updates and daily refreshes.Review and flag error messages for resolution by internal teams, tracking corrections.Raise support and engineering tickets for unresolved errors.Coordinate with internal client teams on promotional plans to prevent schedule conflicts.Contribute ideas and feedback to improve processes, workflows, and tools.Report on workload, issues, and trends.About You:Experience working with website content and production teams.Up to 3 years experience with localisation and managing content for a global audience using a multi-layered CMS.Knowledge of content management and related system processes.Familiarity with Adobe AEM platforms.Proven troubleshooting skills for CMS issues and communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Experience in business process improvement and re-engineering.Ability to manage ambiguity effectively.Excellent communication skills and teamwork in unpredictable environments.Flexible schedule for rapid, time-sensitive content updates.Strong ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.Support for ad hoc out-of-hours content updates, coordinated with global management.A passion for music across genres.Experience with git clients (e.g., Tower, SourceTree).Experience creating or managing internal tools is a plus.Knowledge of HTML, XML, JSON, and enterprise CMS systems.WPP is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity.
