Summary Prospects new Medicare and individual accounts considering enrollment in Individual Solutions, Open Enrollment, and Medicare Individual/Group. Facilitates sale and implementation of accounts in the Individual Sales Department. Location & Schedule SummaCare - 1200 E Market St, Akron, OH Full-Time / 40 Hours / Days Hybrid Minimum Qualifications Associates Degree or equivalent with 2 years of relevant experience. 1+ years performing similar responsibilities, including phone sales, prospecting, sales follow-up, underwriting, and calendar management. Health & Accident License (must be obtained within 90 days of hire). As a Captive Agent, sell only SummaCare products and cannot represent other carriers. Essential Functions Sell and enroll eligible individuals in SummaCare plans, emphasizing product benefits. Meet and maintain sales goals. Manage leads efficiently, including follow-ups and administrative duties. Educate community members through presentations. Maintain current knowledge of product offerings and regulations. Develop lead sources via networking and referrals. Ensure service continuity post-enrollment and collaborate with Customer Service. Uphold integrity and professionalism in all interactions. Skills & Competencies Familiarity with the target population and products. Ability to interact effectively with members with complex medical issues. Strong communication, organization, and time management skills. Knowledge of regulatory and company policies. Maintain confidentiality and adapt work hours as needed. Physical Demands Sit or stand for prolonged periods. Bend, lift up to 40 pounds, and travel as required. Additional Information Salary Range: $27.82/hr - $41.73/hr, based on experience and location.
