Our mission is to provide clarity, confidence, and certainty to our customers in achieving their financial goals.We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Optimisation Analyst to join our team in Sydney. In this newly created role, you will work closely with the Operations Manager to drive a strong risk and control environment, aligning control management with strategic business objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and own controls for known operational risks within agreed SLAs.Continuously improve processes to address root causes of operational risks through redesign, automation, or system enhancements.Proactively identify new or emerging risks and design effective controls to meet compliance requirements.Lead remediation activities when controls fail, including managing small to medium-scale corrective initiatives.Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for audits, internal stakeholders, and technology teams.Document and regularly review processes related to control design, testing, and effectiveness.Promote governance activities aligned to risk and compliance frameworks.Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to promote effective control management.Provide insights and recommendations to improve processes and procedures within operations.ClearView takes its Work, Health and Safety (WHS) obligations seriously. All employees must follow policies which are located on our intranet Connect.Take ownership of the risk and compliance responsibilities relevant to your role, support a strong risk culture, and understand that risk is everyones responsibility.Secondary ResponsibilitiesContribute to major operational remediation projects alongside SMEs and stakeholders.Provide risk and control expertise to key business initiatives and system improvements.Support the operations leadership team in embedding robust controls across systems and manual processes.About YouYou are a natural problem-solver and critical thinker with a passion for improving operational effectiveness and risk management. You thrive in collaborative environments and can work under pressure with competing priorities.Qualifications & Experience:35 years of experience in a Life Insurance or similar financial services environment.Strong understanding of regulatory environments and compliance frameworks.Proven experience in risk and control management, ideally within operational teams.Life Insurance experience is desirable, not essential.Skills & Attributes:Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.Strong planning, prioritisation, and communication abilities.Experience in process redesign and change implementation.Resilience, curiosity, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with evolving priorities.Why us?ClearView is an innovative culture where ideas are welcomed, and results are recognised.
