Join to apply for the Plant Supervisor role at Boral 2 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants Your next opportunity As a Plant Supervisor based at our Smithfield plant, you will be at the heart of our concrete production processes, ensuring that our plant runs smoothly and efficiently. Depending on your skills and experience, youll conduct a range of activities including operating fixed and mobile plant, batching concrete to order, monitoring production metrics, cleaning and yard duties, and being an effective member of the team, identifying and resolving any issues that arise in a dynamic work environment. Individuals with experience in concrete batching, operating front end loaders, operating forklifts, and working within a safety-critical environment are encouraged to apply. Your day will involve: Accurate batching of orders to specified mix designs with dedicated programs and systems Safe operation of front-end loader to weigh up materials for batching Managing day-to-day administration including stock control of raw materials and monthly forecasts Participation in safety initiatives including pre-starts, toolboxes, and incident reporting General yard housekeeping and maintenance What are we looking for? Experience in supervising teams in a similar role or industry Sound computer skills or experience in production systems/software Flexibility and willingness to cover several responsibilities across the plant as required Front end loader license and forklift license will be highly regarded Commitment to a culture of safety and zero harm Whats on offer?
