The role encompasses leading the CSSD team across the main CSSD and the Day surgery CSSD to provide a streamline and efficient service. The Nurse Unit Manager will display experience in human resource management, including labour hours management, agency utilization and absenteeism management.The success profile and key accountabilities of this position include:Providing strong, effective leadership, fostering development and support of the staff in the main operating theatre.Comprehensive understanding of ACORN Standards, AS 5369, professional guidelines and government policy in relation to CSSD.Development of strong collaborative relationships with the Visiting Medical Officers and interdisciplinary team members.Enhancement of relationships with other departments within the hospitalBachelors Degree of NursingPrevious comprehensive perioperative senior nursing management experience (ANUM/Floor coordinator level).Full time, salary negotiable.Well refined leadership skills and effective interpersonal communicationCore knowledge of AS 5369, HICMR, ACORN standards and ACHS national standards andimplementation and monitoring of quality activities to support these standardsHow do your skills match this job?Sign in and update your profile to get insights.Your application will include the following questions:How many years'' experience do you have as a nurse unit manager?
