You will be responsible for core financial processes, including month-end close, reporting, compliance, and financial analysis.WHAT YOU WILL DOFinancial Reporting & Month-End Close: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Assist with the preparation of board and investor reporting packs. Maintain accuracy of the general ledger and ensure correct allocation of transactions.Compliance & Statutory Returns: Ensure compliance with ATO obligations including BAS, FBT, PAYG, superannuation, and Corporate Income Tax. Liaise with external auditors and assist in the preparation of annual financial audits. Maintain internal controls, documentation, and ensure adherence to company policies.Process and System Improvements: Identify and implement improvements to financial processes and procedures. Assist with system enhancements and finance automation projects. Ensure data integrity and consistency across platforms (e.g., ERP, inventory).Cross-functional Financial Support: Collaborate with departments to support financial decision-making. Provide timely, relevant financial insights and reporting.
