Every role in our SSN AUKUS team is helping to deliver essential sovereign capability for Australia.Recognised for delivering projects of global and national significance that help keep Australia safe, it is our shared passion that shapes our culture, and our people that make it a great place to work.About the OPPORTUNITYWe have an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Systems Strategy & Project Lead to join SSN AUKUS based in Adelaide or Melbourne, reporting to the Senior Supply Chain Excellence Manager.We embrace flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia, such as working a 9-day fortnight and or hybrid working.You will be responsible for the development and implementation of the supply chain project team technology strategy for the AUKUS Program, in consultation with the projects leadership team and other key stakeholders.Key responsibilities include:Develop supply chain strategies for systems capability and technology in collaboration with key stakeholdersBecome an expert in product lifecycle management, enterprise resource planning and materials resource planning systems, the interconnects of different modules and capabilities within them, so that you can effectively advise on opportunities for improvementFacilitate the engagement of nominated subject matter experts (users) in requirements definition, test script definition, user testing and acceptanceAct as the primary point for IM&T for nominated supply chain application projectsWork with other functions to understand resourcing requirements for implementation of cross functional toolsAbout YOUA combined knowledge of end-to-end supply chain process and knowledge of current and future procurement and supply chain technologiesAbility to use and adapt written and verbal communication skills to suit a variety of difference audiences is critical to this roleAbility to negotiate with and influence internal and/or external stakeholders in a way which generates business benefit whilst maintaining key relationshipsEmbrace the opportunity for periodic domestic and international travel, and collaborate globally by attending meetings in UK time zones.We believe in hiring for potential, we know that some candidates hesitate if they dont tick all the boxes.
