Reporting to the Technical Manager this role is responsible for Field Service work on multiple types of cranes including harbour mobile, crawler and gantry cranes, plus occasional drilling and piling equipment.The predominant regions covered is across Melbourne and Victoria and at times throughout Australia. The role is hands on and practical, ideal for someone who is motivated and eager to promote the Liebherr brand and lead the way as best in classKey ResponsibilitiesMajor and minor serviceDiagnostics and troubleshooting of Mechanical, Hydraulic and Electrical systemsInspect and test electrical and instrumentation systems and componentsRoutine maintenance, repairs, and component replacementsExpand and maintain customer relationships in the fieldComplete service reporting and manufacturers documentationAbout YouTrade qualified in Auto Electrical or Diesel / Mobile Plant Mechanic or equivalent with at least 2 years of relevant experience.Flexibility to travel to customer sites and work over-time as requiredCapable of working independently in the field, problem solving in various situations.Crane industry experience desirable, although not a requirementAbility to fault find and rectify hydraulic, mechanical and electrical issuesA current drivers licenseCommitment to maintain, and adhere to safety guidelines in the workplaceBenefitsJob security and potential for advancementTechnical Training and career progression opportunitiesAbove award hourly ratesGenerous employee benefits, including 5 days bonus leave days, ability to purchase additional leave, paid parental leave, early access to LSL, wide range of company discounts and retail discount programHave we awoken your interest?
