About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Power BI Report Developer to join our enterprise client''s team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in transforming complex, disparate data into streamlined, standardised, and insightful reports tailored for executive consumption. This role requires a balance of advanced technical expertise in data analysis and engineering, report development, and moderate business analysis skills.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to meet executive and business stakeholder needs.Extract, transform, and consolidate data from multiple sources, including disparate databases and Excel workbooks, ensuring consistency and accuracy.Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective visualisationsOptimise Power BI solutions for performance, scalability, and reusability.Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for reports, data sources, and processes.Identify and implement opportunities for data standardisation and quality improvement.Provide expertise in data modelling, including the creation of measures, calculated columns, and relationships.Stay updated with Power BI features and industry best practices to continually enhance reporting capabilities.Required Skills and Experience:Proven experience as a Power BI or Tableau developer in an enterprise environment.Strong proficiency in creating complex and visually appealing BI reports and dashboards.Advanced knowledge of Power BI DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power Query (M language).Expertise in data engineering and integration, including working with disparate data sources.Experience with SQL and relational database systems.Strong data analysis skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.Moderate business analysis experience to effectively gather and understand business requirements.Ability to create engaging presentations in PowerPoint, which is often used as the final presentation medium.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present data insights clearly and effectively.Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance standards in an enterprise setting.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.At least one Microsoft Power BI or Power Platform certification.Experience with other BI tools and technologies (e.g., Tableau, QlikView) is a plus.Familiarity with Azure Data Services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL) is advantageous.Knowledge of VBA and advanced Excel functions.What We OfferA dynamic, collaborative work environment with a focus on excellence.Opportunities for professional growth and development.Competitive salary package and benefits.Flexibility in work arrangements, including remote work options.How to Apply: If you are passionate about data, visualisation, and empowering business leaders with actionable insights, we want to hear from you.
