With recognition from the Workplace Gender Equality Agency, the Australian Workplace Equality Index, and multiple awards for workplace flexibility, our people and the way we work together are our difference.Were looking for a proactive and drivenFinancial Accountant, to assist the group finance team deliver optimum deliverables in the areas of compliance, financial and tax reporting.Your key responsibilities:Accurate recording of expenses and raising billing for platform entitiesMonth-end processing and reportingCompliance tasks including Payroll Tax, Fringe Benefits Tax, and Workers CompensationPreparation of income tax calculations and financial statementsSupporting audits and external reporting obligationsPrepare and review balance sheet reconciliationsAccrue expenses based on agreementsEnsure accurate and timely fee billingAssist with BAS, IAS, FBT, and Payroll Tax compliance across multiple statesSupport data preparation and lodgement for workers compensationAssist in annual financial reporting and audits for group and subsidiary entitiesCollaborate with Finance, Tax, and IT teams across the businessLiaise with auditors and tax advisersAssist on treasury related activitiesWhat you bring:Degree in Commerce or Business, majoring in AccountingCurrently pursuing a CA or CPA qualificationExperience in a similar finance or accounting role (property sector experience a bonus)Strong communication skills and attention to detailProactive, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skillsWorking knowledge of accounting standards and tax obligations (FBT, Payroll Tax, etc.)What we offer:Career Development: Leadership programs, education assistance, study support, professional membership fee supportLifestyle: We offer generous parental leave, return to work program, and summer hoursInclusive Culture: A safe, welcoming environment for all, including individuals from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, the LGBTQ+ community, and those who are neurodivergentFlexibility: We do our best to support you to be able to do the things that are important to you.
