The opportunity We are seeking a Manager for our growing EY Private Corporate Tax team in Sydney. Our team works with leading entrepreneurs, private equity-backed companies, and founder-led businesses. EY Privates Tax practice believes in creating a better working world by helping clients navigate a changing business and tax environment. Your key responsibilities Advise clients on Australian tax laws. Provide strategic tax planning and structuring advice for inbound and outbound groups. Offer post-deal taxation services and ad-hoc advice to acquired companies. Guide clients on tax corporate governance policies and processes. Review corporate income tax returns. Prepare and review tax effect accounting figures. Serve as a primary contact for clients. Manage the delivery of tax services. Collaborate with Partners on market development initiatives. Skills and attributes for success Required qualifications Experience in Corporate Tax Advisory and Compliance, ideally from a top-tier firm or corporate environment. Knowledge of private companies and investment vehicles. Experience managing junior staff. Strong relationship-building skills. Excellent communication skills. Preferred qualities Strong commercial awareness. Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
