Focused on acquiring new partnerships, this role is essential to SCHFs mission to fund pioneering research, enhance clinical care, and create positive experiences for patients and their families. By identifying and securing new corporate partnerships, the Relationship Manager contributes to SCHFs ambitious growth and impact objectives.Responsibilities:Develop and implement targeted acquisition strategies to identify and engage new corporate partners, focusing on those with the potential for significant contributions. Work closely with the Head of Partnership Acquisition to align strategies with SCHFs mission and objectives.Build and manage a robust pipeline of prospective partners, ensuring continuous growth and expansion of SCHFs corporate network. Proactively seek out new opportunities, conduct outreach, and engage with prospective partners to inspire corporate commitment.Craft compelling partnership proposals that align SCHFs mission with the strategic goals of potential partners, customising pitches to demonstrate mutual benefit and maximise impact.Achieve ambitious new business revenue targets by cultivating strong relationships with corporate prospects and securing new commitments. Regularly review and adjust acquisition strategies to meet or exceed financial goalsConduct thorough prospect research to understand potential partners'' values, goals, and philanthropic interests, utilising insights to inform tailored engagement approaches.Utilize Salesforce and other CRM tools to maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospect and partner interactions, tracking progress, engagement activities, and outcomes in compliance with department policies.Represent SCHF at external events and networking opportunities to build brand awareness and expand SCHFs network of prospective partners, acting as an ambassador of SCHFs mission and values.Coordinate closely with the Corporate Partnerships Retention team to ensure newly acquired partners are effectively onboarded and positioned for a seamless transition into long-term engagement. Share relevant insights to support retention strategies that enhance partner satisfaction and loyalty.Collaborate across SCHF teams to enhance the impact of corporate partnerships, ensuring a unified approach to donor engagement that aligns with SCHFs broader objectives for partnership retention and growth.Work with teams who manage SCHFs sponsorship and partnership products, leveraging these offerings to attract prospective partners and align their interests with SCHFs mission. Effectively communicate the value of these products to potential partners, ensuring they meet donor needs and maximize partnership appeal.Engage with Granting and Impact teams to match new partners with mission-critical initiatives that resonate with their values, identifying meaningful connections to strengthen engagement and impact.Finance and Reporting:Assist in preparing annual budget projections for the Corporate Partnership Acquisition team, contributing to multi-year financial forecasts that support SCHFs growth objectives in partnership acquisition.Support the achievement of financial targets by working within the approved budget for partnership acquisition activities, ensuring effective use of resources to maximise new partner engagement and revenue generation.Generate regular financial and progress reports that provide key insights on acquisition performance, including metrics on new partnership revenue, pipeline growth, and conversion rates, for review by the Head of Partnership Acquisition and other leadership stakeholders.Stakeholder Engagement:Communicate confidently and professionally with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, SCHN contacts, potential corporate partners, donors, patients and their families, Foundation staff, and high net worth individuals.Cultivate strong, individualised relationships with prospective and new corporate partners, establishing connections grounded in mutual respect and a shared commitment to SCHFs mission.Contribute to the corporate communication and stewardship strategy by developing acquisition-focused, donor-centric communication plans, identifying key touchpoints, and crafting compelling content to drive engagement with new partnersEnsure compliance with partnership agreements and maintain transparent reporting to uphold trust and accountability with newly acquired partners.Qualifications & Experience:Appropriate tertiary qualificationsAt least 5 years experience with a high-level application of fundraising principles, techniques and strategies, in a similar role in fundraising, sales or marketing or event planning, including a proven history of closing gifts (over $100K).Proven experience devising and managing fundraising programs or campaigns, preferably at complex organisationsFunctional / Technical Skills & CompetenciesProven ability to plan, develop, deliver and monitor large projects with evidenced success in achieving agreed outcomes and timelines while maintaining healthy relationships.Demonstrated highly developed interpersonal skills including the ability to negotiate, be persuasive and develop trust, and manage a variety of internal and external stakeholders across all levels and from varying backgrounds.Proven high level oral and written communication skills, including the ability to write high quality cases for support/prospectus and make engaging presentations.Demonstrated ability to problem solve and prioritise workload.Experience building and managing department budgets preferred.Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team and to collaborate across teams to achieve enhanced outcomes.Ready to join a passionate team that makes a real impact on children''s health?
