At relevant timepoints scientists are responsible for testing in multiple/all sections of the laboratory.Their goal is to work as part of a team, both in hours and out of hours, to achieve high quality work and produce accurate and timely reports.In addition, Grade 1 Scientists may be responsible for the evaluation and accession of specimens and for day to day equipment maintenance, preparation of reagents, and stocktaking as required.To provide Pathology services with competence and compliance with relevant current Australian Standards, Legislation and following Haematology Department, Pathology and SVHMl policies.Immediate and anticipated needs of patients are to be met effectively and efficiently.The part time (0.63FTE), limited rotation positions cover the below sequence of shifts including participation in the on call roster. Note the rotation is a 3 week rotation in the event of person 4 being on leave.3. POSITION DUTIESProvides high quality, accurate and timely resultsreceives specimens, checks identity and labels in accordance with CSR protocols and Haematology Department/SVHM policiesprioritises
