Partner with Company management to drive this cultureEmployee Relations Management Process - Responsible for investigating issues/complaints and recommending solutions in accordance with Company policy and practiceCreate Job DescriptionsResponsible for managing the recruitment process to include sourcing, screening/interviewing, the offer process and onboarding of new hiresAdminister benefits programs such as life, health, and dental insurance, 401(k) plans, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistanceKeep records of benefits plans participation such as insurance and 401(k) plan, personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and employee statistics for government reportingRespond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programsAssure consistency of Plant human resource practices within Company guidelinesAssist Plant Management in proposing policies relative to human resourcesUpdate and publish the Employee HandbookCoordinate Management training in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, safety, affirmative action, and workplace harassmentPartner with Plant Management to ensure all employees are properly trained in their respective positionsCoordinate accident investigations and prepare reports for TPA, MCO, BWC and OSHAAnalyze wage and salary reports and data to propose competitive compensation plan to Plant ManagementCoordinate performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organizationPrepare reports within the HRIS and recommend procedures to reduce absenteeism and turnoverOversee the analysis, maintenance, and communication of records required by law or local governing bodies, or other departments at the facilityAdminister EEO, FMLA, ADA and Workers Compensation programsSpecial projects as requiredUnderstand and follow all Company Procedures pertaining to assigned tasks, and the potential consequences of departure from these ProceduresKnowledge of the Quality Policy, Quality Objectives, all Company Policies, and the importance of conformance to company and customer requirementsKnowledge of the effects that nonconforming products have on our CustomersKnowledge of the Environmental Policy, Environmental Objectives, all Safety Polices, and the importance of conformance to company and Regulatory requirementAware of the Quality impacts of their work activities, their roles and responsibilities in achieving conformance within the Quality System and the benefits of improved personal performanceAware of the Environmental and Safety impacts of their work activities, their roles and responsibilities in achieving conformance within the Environmental and Safety System and the benefits of improved personal performanceAware of how to submit Quality, Safety, Environmental and Business-related questions or suggestions, and how initiate continual improvementsRequirements:The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
