The Immunisation Team is committed to delivering exceptional customer service, providing anticipatory guidance, and ensuring meticulous attention to detail in the storage, transportation, administration, and documentation of vaccines.Each day begins in Broadford, where the team prepares and securely transports vaccines before traveling to designated locations to administer immunisations. This dynamic role offers variety, as each day involves visiting different destinations, ensuring accurate documentation, and maintaining the highest standards of immunisation practices.This role is a casual opportunity with remuneration being $70.01/hour (Year 1) plus superannuation.About YouThe ideal candidate will have experience participating in Local Government immunisation programs. To succeed in this role, you must be motivated, adaptable, and collaborative, with a strong understanding of the National Immunisation Program (NIP), vaccine administration, and community health priorities.Essential qualifications include certification as a Nurse Immuniser, along with current First Aid, CPR, and Anaphylaxis certifications. A thorough understanding of the Cold Chain process is also required, including the ability to identify, mitigate, and report any adverse findings to ensure vaccine integrity and safety.All applications must address the Key Selection Criteria in the position description.
