Youll collaborate with teams at the Pelican Point Power Station and Synergen Gas Turbine facilities throughout South Australia.About YouTertiary qualification in Engineering and/or extensive experience in power industry engineering and maintenance practices including gas turbine and steam turbine plantIn-depth expertise in managing hot gas path components of gas turbines, along with a solid grasp of power plant engineering principles and operationsProven experience in procurement and contract management, including drafting specifications, tender processes, negotiations, and contractor oversightStrong understanding of plant capabilities and component life integrity, as well as performance monitoring and control of thermal performance parametersDemonstrated leadership and supervisory skills to coordinate efforts and inspire teams and ability to travel on occassion within South AustraliaExtensive project management experience, with a focus on mechanical and electrical asset management and excellent communication skills to convey technical information to diverse stakeholdersFamiliar with electricity industry regulations and capable of conducting audits and writing clear recommendation reports as well as knowledgeable about the Work Health and Safety Act and RegulationsStrong risk assessment, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and provide guidance.
