The VacancyWates has an opportunity for a Site Manager to join our team within the Planned Works division. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Tamworth, focusing on social housing projects. The role involves ensuring projects are completed safely, economically, on time, and to quality standards.Key AccountabilitiesInput into and program the works, including short-term planning.Manage operatives, sub-contractors, and suppliers to maintain quality and health & safety standards.Attend pre- and post-inspections, advise on actions and design solutions, and facilitate successful project delivery and handover.Prepare weekly site progress reports and submit them electronically to the Project Manager.Ensure completed job packs are sent to the Project Manager with all relevant details for swift invoicing and cash flow management.Minimum RequirementsFull accreditation in asbestos awareness and scaffold inspections.SMSTS certification.Full UK driving license.Valid first aid certificate.Candidate ProfileWe seek an experienced Site Manager with a proven track record in internal and external planned maintenance works. The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator, positive leader, and proficient in IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Strong task prioritization skills are essential.Additional InformationApplicants will need to undergo a DBS check at offer stage.
