Our Personal Care Workers (PCW) are highly visible and play a key role in achieving this at our Caravonica Care Home, Caravonica Waters Aged Care - Nursing Home | Infinite Care. Working closely with and supported by the clinical, lifestyle, and hospitality teams, you will work with limited direct supervision and be responsible for delivering resident-centric care in a timely and compassionate manner, enabling residents to make choices and have control over their support needs. About You At Infinite Care, we hire based on attitude and aptitude, so experience in the aged care sector is not necessary. What is essential is that you have a resident/customer-centric approach, the ability to think on your feet, communicate effectively, build rapport, and maintain professional relationships with residents and co-workers. Additionally, you will: Demonstrate at least 1 year of experience in the Australian Aged Care Sector Possess an excellent work ethic, ability to work in a team, and follow safety procedures at all times Have excellent safety awareness to prevent residents from tripping, falling, or injuring themselves Be able to think quickly to keep residents the main focus and make a difference in their lives daily Be passionate about caring for the elderly and building positive relationships with residents and their families Maintain a positive teamwork attitude, be punctual, supportive, and a fun colleague Hold a Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or have completed first-year nursing studies Have or be willing to obtain NDIS Workers Screening Clearance (link) This role involves moving frequently, including bending, lifting, pushing, and squatting, to perform duties safely. All carers are required to complete an online medical assessment prior to a formal offer to ensure safety standards. Who are we?
