About the roleAn opportunity has arisen for suitably qualified and enthusiastic Electrical or Mechanical Operator Maintainer to join our Export Operations at the Port. The position will report to the Export Facilities Maintenance Supervisor.Rotating roster:2 Days / 2 Nights, 5 off 12 hour shifts2 Days / 3 Nights, 4 off 12 hour shifts3 Days / 2 Nights, 5 off 12 hour shiftsThe primary purpose of this role is to ensure business targets are met through the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of a diverse range of equipment at our Port facilities. To be successful in this role, you will have a wide range of trade maintenance duties. Your responsibilities will cover:Operate fixed plant equipmentConduct preventative, breakdown, and scheduled maintenanceExecute disassembly, installation, and upgrades of plant and equipmentProficiently diagnose and fault-findLead continuous improvement initiatives to minimize downtimePrioritize safety and maintain high-quality standardsYou will be an exceptional team member with a flexible can-do attitude and sound work ethic.
