About the roleAbout the opportunityWe are seeking a CommunityGiving Coordinator to join the Fundraising and Communications Division. Reporting to the Community Giving Manager your role is to:Actively take part and support the Community Giving Team to plan, implement, optimise and evaluate campaigns, ensuring targets are met or exceededBuild and nurture relationships with volunteers, event planning committees and fundraisers to retain and grow participation in, and revenue from fundraising activitiesWith the support of the Community Giving Manager, project manage successful execution of Fundraising and Peer-to-peer campaigns, including maintaining coinciding websites and communications journeysForecast and maintain assigned event and campaign budgets to achieve fundraising targets and effective expenditure managementActively participate in a culture of learning, innovation and continuous improvements within the team, unit and divisionAll about youWe are looking for someone with:Relevant qualification and/or experience in Fundraising, Event Management, Marketing, Communications or related fieldDemonstrated experience in identifying, securing and developing successful relationships with volunteer community groups, third-party fundraisers, local businesses and councils to achieve fundraising goalsStrong organisation and time management skills with an ability to work autonomously and the proven ability to meet tight deadlinesDemonstrated ability to carry out duties professionally, with tact and diplomacy ensuring privacy and confidentiality requirements are maintainedDemonstrated problem solving skills and the ability to take initiativeExcellent written, oral communication, financial and project management skillsAdvanced skills in MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPointAbility to travel to metro and regional Victoria, outside of regular business hours and weekend work required, with Time in Lieu accrual available.Ability to lift and move semi-heavy items at events (e.g. marquees/marquee weights)Must have a valid driving licence and be confident to drive a 1 tonne van to events when requiredExperience with Salesforce CRMWhat we can offer youBase salary of $73,698 to $79,370 p.a.
