Senior Forensic Mental Health ClinicianPermeant Full time (80 hours per fortnight with monthly ADO)About The RoleThe Forensic Clinical Specialist, supports the building of capacity within the Adult Mental Health & Wellbeing Service in assisting consumers with highly complex challenges associated with co-morbid mental health and forensic issues. The role also works with Aged Persons Mental Health Services and provides support and secondary consultation to the Child and Youth Mental Health Services. This role supports Mental Health and Wellbeing Services across the Grampians region.This role will involve the provision of primary and secondary consultation regarding identified consumers with mental health and forensic issues, to assist services in developing appropriate recovery and risk mitigation plans; as well as supporting service development and training and education on contemporary practice regarding risk assessment and the management of consumers with complex forensic issues.
