Job Title: Senior SAP Human Capital Management (HCM) SpecialistLocation: Canberra, ACT (On-site)Contract Type: 12 months Contract with possbility of extensionClearance Required: Must be an Australian Citizen (Baseline Clearance or the ability to obtain one)About the RoleWe are seeking experienced Senior SAP HCM Specialists to support the delivery of key services within a large-scale shared services environment that supports over a dozen federal government entities. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to Business-as-Usual (BAU) operations, project support, and platform enhancements on a major SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud platform.As a Senior SAP HCM Specialist, you will work across a multi-client environment, contributing to the design, implementation, and support of HCM solutions, while ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery.To be successful in this role you must:Design and implement SAP HCM solutions in a shared SAP landscapeProvide technical support for the HCM Team, including resolving incidents and handling helpdesk ticketsConduct in-depth analysis of business requirements and translate them into functional specificationsAdvise on SAP HCM best practices and ensure alignment with client needsEngage with end-users and business stakeholders to clarify processesSupport internal and external audits with configuration and transactional informationCollaborate with stakeholders across the ERP Services groupMaintain comprehensive documentation of system changesParticipate in knowledge transfer and contribute to skill-sharing across the teamTo be considered for this role you must have:Minimum 10 years of SAP HCM experience, including deep expertise across ECC6.0 HCM modules such as:Public Sector Personnel AdministrationTime ManagementPayrollOrganisational ManagementPerformance ManagementReportingStrong knowledge of SAP HCM tables and dataProven Master Data Management capabilitiesHands-on experience with tools such as:Document BuilderDSM Object SyncQuery ManagerVariance MonitorConfig CommanderSpinifexLSMW (Legacy System Migration Workbench)Ability to develop functional specifications for technical teamsSkilled in translating business needs into technical solutions using standard SAP functionalityExcellent testing skills using real-world scenariosStrong communication, stakeholder engagement, and interpersonal skillsHigh attention to detail and ability to manage multiple prioritiesExperience working in a shared services or multi-client environmentAustralian Public Sector experienceFamiliarity with SAP Solution Manager for maintaining functional documentationComfortable in multicultural team environmentsSelf-starter with excellent organisational and time management skill.To be considered for the role click the ''apply'' button or for more information about this and other opportunities please contact Irina Alrogi on +61 (0)2 6151 9203 or email: ialrogi@paxus.com.au and quote the above job reference number.Paxus values diversity and welcomes applications from Indigenous Australians, people from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds and people living with a disability.
