Develop your talent with us as an Assistant Banquet Chef, where your care and creativity will elevate our menus!Communicates effectively with ChefTake physical inventory of specified food items for daily inventoryEnsure that each Kitchen work area is stocked with specified tools, supplies and equipment to meet the business demandEnsure that recipe cards, production schedules, plating guides, photographs are current and posted and followedprepares menu items following recipes and yield guides, according to department standardsMaintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, procedures, and standardsMaintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipmentAnticipate guests needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of dayMaintain positive guest and colleague relations at all timesMonitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areasReview daily specials and offer feedback to Executive ChefCommunicate additions or changes to the assignments as they arise throughout the shiftreview the days supplies and ensure that they are received and stored correctlyfollow hotel break policyfollow grooming and attire guidelinesCheck and ensure that all opening/closing duties are completed to standardCheck kitchen printers on the line, ensuring they are in working order and there is enough paper available for the shiftWork on line during service and assist wherever neededBe aware of any shortages and communicate with Chef before the item runs outInspect the cleanliness of the line, floor, all Kitchen stationsMaintain proper storage procedures as specified by Health Department and Hotel requirementsCommunicate needed work orders for maintenance repairs to ChefQualificationsAt least4 years of similar Food and Beverage experience required.Working knowledge of knives, knife skills and small wares equipment.Working knowledge of health, safety and sanitation procedures.Working knowledge of weights and measures and various cooking techniques.Excellent customer service skills.Ability to lead and mentor a team.Professional appearance and demeanor.Ability to speak, read and write in English.Start date in August (8/1/25 at the earliest)Additional InformationYour team and working environment:A team of Heartists that are committed to working together, supporting each other, and providing the best guest experience, Feel Valued, Feel Sparked, We Are OneOur commitment to Diversity & Inclusion:We are an inclusive company and our ambition is to attract, recruit and promote diverse talentWhy work for Accor?We are far more than a worldwide leader.
