ROLE OUTLINE: The role of the Implementation and Activation team within Wavemaker is to deliver the highest excellence in Implementation Planning and Buying, spanning both offline and online media types, powered by data, technology, and automation, ensuring client campaigns are executed and amplified in an effective, efficient, and future facing way. The scope of Implementation and Activation incorporates traditional media (TV, Cinema, Out of Home, Radio, Print, Digital Video and Display) and the online evolution of traditional media (Addressable TV, Programmatic OOH, Music Streaming and Podcasting). u00A0 The role of Associate Director within the Implementation and Activation team is to help shape and manage the delivery of client media plans. u00A0 Reporting of the role: u00A0u00A0u00A0 Implementation and Activation Director Direct reports:u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Implementation and Activation Managers, Associate Managers, Executives, Coordinators u00A0 u00A0 KEY STAKEHOLDERS: u00A0 Internal Departments:u00A0 Collaborate closely with your client team, including client leads, comms planners, strategy leads and other agency and group departments to manage expectations and collectively deliver the strongest outcomes for clients. Media Owners: u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Establish strong relationships with our media partners at a Group Sales Manager level and Sales Executive level. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: u00A0 PeopleOpenly communicate and collaborate with all internal key stakeholders and reports regularly u00A0Hold regular performance evaluation meetings with reports throughout the year, setting SMART KPIs and creating a clear career development plan with them. u00A0Overseeing workflow of junior members of the team and escalating any issues. u00A0Clients u00A0Establish an understanding of client challenges, objectives & initiatives. u00A0Help build on the agency''s reputation for outstanding client service. u00A0Own relationships with clients at a Marketing Assistant or Marketing Manager level when it comes to Implementation Planning and Buying u00A0Clear understanding of the in-scope services of your clients and the process for completing work above and beyond. u00A0Product u00A0Engage with our media partners to build knowledge of the media landscape and understanding of core media principles and the capabilities of each media touchpoint. u00A0Engage with internal product teams including WPP Media proprietary product and service teams to ensure you have an understanding about their offerings and relevance to our clients. u00A0Confident in your knowledge of media planning principles (e.g. scheduling, flighting, recency, effective reach theories, seasonality, market prioritisation, roles of all communication channels) and strong ability to utilise agency and industry tools to enhance and support planned recommendation. u00A0Ownership of the media plan (creating, developing, updating) including media plan reconciliation, and the update of plan changes, with detailed updates for internal stakeholders. u00A0Able to construct and present robust Implementation plans, that are grounded in strategic priorities. u00A0Brings innovation and creativity to the table, leveraging insights from across the market. u00A0Manage the Implementation Planning and Buying function across all touchpoints, ensuring maximum value is delivered for our clients on a campaign by campaign basis. u00A0Construct and present insightful and progressive post analysis reports. u00A0Responsible for ensuring all financial and compliance processes are followed with 100% accuracy, including bookings and loadings u00A0Seek to find, communicate and implement improvements in all aspects of the role. u00A0Growth & MarketingCollaborate closely with your Manager to identify, collate and showcase examples of great work from within the team, both internally and externally. u00A0Build the agencyu2019s reputation by contributing to entries for awards and competitions u00A0Be a positive face of the agency at industry events, either related to clientsu2019 category or our media partners. u00A0u00A0 u00A0 u00A0 ROLE REQUIREMENTS:Experience managing a team u00A0Passion for Implementation Planning and Buying u00A0Strong, up to date, media landscape knowledge (confidently able to articulate macro consumer trends and the challenges and opportunities they bring). u00A0Attention to detail u00A0Extensive media buying experience u00A0Problem solving mentality u00A0Clear communicator, with strong presentation skills u00A0Demonstrates well developed negotiation and Investment planning skills u00A0Results Driven.u00A0 Passionate about delivering business results for clients, with the ability to identify and clearly articulate whatu2019s working and why. u00A0u00A0 WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE: In 3 months: u00A0Established collaborative relationships with all key stakeholders and internal reports.A strong understanding of and can clearly articulate the agency and group proposition, core Implementation and Activation processes and our way of working.Immersed yourself in the team with an understanding of the status of all active and upcoming campaigns.In 6 months:Demonstrated your ability to deliver on all aspects of the role in an efficient, effective and proactive way. u00A0Strengthened your key stakeholder relationships to deliver great team work consistently. u00A0Managing the Implementation and Activation processes for the team from end to end, ensuring that your manager and wider team are regularly updated. u00A0u00A0 In 12 months: u00A0 u00A0Taking on greater ownership for campaigns and clients u2013 responsibility and volume.Building strong relationships with publishers, representing the Wavemaker team appropriately and ensuring that campaigns are delivered to the highest qualityu00A0 #J-18808-Ljbffr
