Our core services include Design & Build, Operations & Maintenance, Build Own Operate & Transfer (Boot), & a range of partnership models.About the RoleAs we embark upon an exciting of growth and revolution, we are seeking to appoint a Head of Procurement, where you will lead a team of procurement professionals through a transformational journey, driving innovation across systems and processes and delivering improved commercial outcomes.As an inspired and independent leader, you thrive on a challenge and bring energy and determination to complex environments, and you are excited by the opportunity to build and influence. You will provide strategic oversight of procurement activities, and your leadership will contribute to providing a value-added service to the ANZ business.ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team ManagementLead and mentor a team of professionals fostering an environment of collaboration, high performance, innovation and continuous improvementProvide strategic direction and operational leadership in line with broader organisational goalsManage the day-to-day operations of the team, overseeing activities for both direct and indirect categoriesProcess Improvement & TransformationLead efforts to review and enhance existing procurement processes, transitioning them from the current state to a "best practice" model.Conduct regular health checks and audits of procurement systemsImplement change management strategies which challenge the status quo, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the teamStakeholder & Supplier ManagementEngage with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to align procurement strategies with overall company goals and ensure integration with wider business functions.Cultivate strong relationships with key suppliers, managing both global and regional supplier relationships to drive value and performance.Negotiate and manage complex contracts, ensuring favourable terms that align with the organizations objectives.Sustainability & Environmental ImpactLead procurement efforts with a strong focus on sustainability, ensuring the company''s environmental footprint is minimized through responsible sourcing and eco-friendly procurement strategies.Actively contribute to sustainability-driven procurement decisions, reinforcing the companys commitment to green procurement, reducing carbon emissions, and promoting environmentally friendly alternatives.Required SkillsYour 10+ years expertise in a procurement function can demonstrate driving transformational excellence at a senior leadership level. You are experienced in managing direct and indirect spend particularly in high-value contracts and large-scale procurement operations. You understand the complexities of global matrix style organisations and may have enjoyed success within a consulting environment.Proven and effective leadership skills allow you to influence with a wide range of stakeholders including our SLT, suppliers, contractors and engineers. You bring advanced project management and change management and both a strategic and tactical mindset. Highly developed negotiating skills are essential with the ability to drive cost savings is a must.
