Job Description:About the Opportunity:St Vincents Private Hospital Toowoomba (SVPHT) is the largest acute private hospital on the Darling Downs. We are a 189-bed facility with highly experienced and skilled staff that work as a team to deliver the highest standard of healthcare to all our patients. Our services include medical, surgical, maternity, paediatric, emergency, cardiac and rehabilitation. We are supported by comprehensive allied health services and advanced medical and diagnostic services. Pathology, radiology and pharmacy are also available on site, and our emergency department is open 24 hours, seven days a week.The Medical Director is a key medical leadership position,responsible for clinical and medical leadership ensuring high quality health care and a culture of excellence in relation to clinical service provision across the organisation and in line with our strategic direction. The position oversees medical professional standards across the hospital, enacts and provides advice to the Executive on professional medical issues including medical governance, workforce, education professional practice, leadership development and medico-legal matters.This role is a permanent part time position working 38 hours per fortnight.
