The Opportunity Novaskill, in partnership with Northern Beaches Council, is offering multiple Early Childhood Traineeship (Diploma) opportunities. This is your chance to gain hands-on experience while receiving on-the-job training, mentoring, and ongoing support to help you reach your career goals and unlock your full potential.As a trainee, youll complete a Diploma in Early Child Education, combining formal training with a Registered Training Organisation and practical experience at one of Northern Beaches Councils childcare centres.The Role The key focus areas of this role includeMaintain a sound understanding and comply with the obligations set out in the Family Assistance Law for administering Child Care SubsidyProvide timely, effective, and responsive administrative support to the Early Learning Centre team and the wider Childrens Services business unitEnsure accurate and up to date record and maintenance and compliance regimes relating to:Family and child enrolment records and documentationChild attendance recordsPurchasing and debtor maintenanceProvide accurate advice and assistance to families and other internal customers on the processes and services undertaken by the Childrens Service unitLearning Outcomes Implement creative play strategies for the inclusion of all childrenDesign educational programs that nurture creativity and establish a safe learning environment for allWork in partnership with families to provide appropriate education and for childrenMentor other educators in the workplaceImplement child development theory in play activities and across practices in generalAbout You Show a passion for working with childrenHave a strong customer service focusHave time management, attention to detail, planning and organisational skillsShow the ability to work as part of a team and share knowledgeCurrent NSW drivers licenseWorking with Childrens Check(or willingness to obtain)National Police Check(or willingness to obtain)Novaskill is about enriching peoples lives and cultivating futures.
