Industry Award Level 3 - 4, based on experienceBe part of a committed and supportive team of professionalsInclusive workplace environmentEdmonton location with free parkingThe multifaceted role of Quality Officer / WHS Facilitator / ICT Administrator has become available within our Quality and Safety Team. This unique opportunity involves a combination of front-facing customer service with internal/external stakeholders as well as backend compliance and IT administration. Quality Assurance, Risk Management and Workplace Health and Safety is central to this position alongside with managing and maintaining ICT services and equipment. Great opportunity for those seeking a change or a new opportunity to utilise existing skills in any of the above-mentioned areasResponsibilities Include (but Are Not Limited To)Develop and review organisational policies, procedures and work practices in line with legislative requirements.Review and ensure current operational requirements under the N.D.I.S. Quality and Safeguards Commission, including Restrictive Practices, comply with current legislation.Support the Organisations ongoing N.D.I.S. registration requirements by implementing internal and external auditing as per the audit schedule.Maintain Organisation document control systems, system records and databases as required and recommend improvements to systems and procedures.Ensure Emergency Evacuation plans are maintained and current across all ARC locations.Maintain Incident Management Register ensuring timely processing of incidents and actions.Carry out scheduled site inspections across all ARC locations to ensure compliance with WHS legislation and standards.Maintain a schedule of I.C.T Lifespan and Licences in accordance with the Asset Register, reporting on future replacements, renewals and upgrade opportunities.Assist with gathering information on recommended providers for communication software, mobile devices, internet and data services.Whats on offer?Professional development opportunities.Salary sacrificing benefits.Flexible working hours.Free Employee Assistance Program.Access to Fitness Passport Program.Opportunity to undertake ethical service provision in an Organisation that has great culture and invests in its people.To Be Successful In This Role You Will HaveWorking knowledge of the N.D.I.S and Quality and Safeguards Commission, including Restrictive Practices.Demonstrated understanding of external and internal auditing processes.Experience with implementing/maintaining Quality Assurance systems.An ability to effectively engage with stakeholders and identify solutions.Demonstrated experience of implementing and upholding Risk Management systems and processes.Minimum of 2 Years experience in Quality Assurance/Compliance Risk Management or equivalent role (desirable).High level of understanding of WHS legislation and standards.Strong understanding of current Information, Communication and Technology hardware, software, devices and best business practicesGeneral asset maintenance experienceMinimum of 1 Year experience in information, communications and technology or equivalent role (desirable)Working with Children Blue Card & NDIS Worker ScreenCurrent QLD Drivers licence, registered motor vehicle and comprehensive car insurance.Our Hiring ProcessWe value diversity and encourage candidates to be themselves, so simply click APPLY with your resume and cover letter introducing yourself.We also like it when applicants come into the office to introduce themselves, and this could certainly be an advantage to you.
