About the RoleThe Pluto and Karratha Gas Plants, located on the Burrup Peninsula near Karratha, include one LNG train at Pluto and five LNG trains at the Karratha Gas Plant, processing gas from multiple offshore platforms. This Karratha-based role leads a multi-disciplinary team (Woodside and contractors) to manage Turnaround Materials for Tier 2 and 3 campaigns. Responsibilities include procurement, tracking, prioritisation, assurance, staging for execution, and post-execution refurbishment or return of materials to ensure safe and reliable plant operations.Position: Turnaround Materials Readiness CoordinatorLocation: KarrathaIndicative Term of Contract: 18monthsRole Details:Karratha based, 9-day fortnight working 7am-4pm core hours, with allowance to do day and night shift work as requiredDuties & Responsibilities:Responsible for team performance by setting clear expectations & task/activity prioritisation.Responsible for ensuring that the preparation and execution of team activities minimise operational risk on facility.Responsible for communicating to key stakeholders through regular governance and travel to Perth.Responsible for Continuous Improvement opportunities to be identified, assessed and implemented where approved.Responsible for self and team member compliance to LTO and Competency Training Requirements.Skills & Experience:Demonstrated skilled proficiency in maintenance processes and the use of SAP CMMS for effective work execution.Solid understanding of the material supply chain and related SAP transactional processes, ensuring seamless coordination and inventory control.Strong technical knowledge of facility equipment, systems, and processes, with the ability to provide guidance and support to peers and stakeholders.Acts as the primary point of contact for all technician and coordinator-level material-related queries, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.Proven leadership in field operations, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, enabling effective collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.High level of agility and adaptability, with the ability to make timely, informed decisions in a dynamic operational environment.Preferred: Prior experience in a trade-based role supporting maintenance delivery, contributing to hands-on operational insight.Only candidates with the right to work in Australia will be considered.Interested or know someone who fits the role?
