With extensive training and support, you''ll have the chance to grow into a leadership position at our vibrant bar and grill.Key Responsibilities Include:Ensure smooth and efficient daily floor operations of the restaurant andbarManaging the day-to-day profitability, presentation and operation of the restaurant and barDevelopand maintaina strong understanding of the company''s food and beverage features to promote to clientsManaging, leading andmotivating staff to ensure a high preforming team culture is maintainedWork closely with the Executive Chef, Hotel Managerand marketing department to develop marketing material and promotions for Marque Bar and GrillRoster according to department needsCreate budgets and monitor financial performance of the restaurant.Annual salary:$73,347.50 plus super.QualificationsTo be a success in this position, you will have:A minimum of two years of supervisory experience in a similar rolePossession of a current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification, ensuring full compliance with industry regulations and promoting a safe and responsible drinking environment.Proven experience in managing staff, with a strong ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing team to achieve departmental goals and maintain exceptional service standards.Expertise in generating and implementing innovative revenue-building strategies and initiativesComprehensive knowledge of alcoholic beverages, including product knowledge, industry trends, and regulationsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with team members, customers, and senior management, fostering a collaborative and transparent work environment.Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service with an unwavering positive attitudeHigh level of self-motivation, confidence, and initiative, with the ability to work autonomously and make sound decisions under pressureFlexibility and availability to work evenings, weekends, and other peak periods as required, demonstrating commitment to meeting the needs of the business and ensuring smooth operations.Additional InformationAt Minor Hotels, we value our people as the heart of our success.
