The Department Alfred Health Radiation Oncology (AHRO) is a unit of a comprehensive cancer service, with sites located at The Alfred - Melbourne (ARO) and Gippsland Radiation Oncology (GRO) at Latrobe Regional Hospital (LRH) - Traralgon. The service provides the full range of general radiation oncology and radiation therapy services in addition to some specialised services with both state and national significance. The Role Alfred Health''s Graduate Radiation Therapist program is aimed at newly qualified radiation therapists entering their first position of employment post graduation. As part of the 12-Month contract, sucessful candidates will undertake a diverse rotation through planning and treatment with a tailored program to support their entry into the profession. Incumbents will be responsible for performing routine radiation treatment planning and treatment delivery and have the opportunity to experience specialty areas and the regional services at GRO.
