Were proud to be partnering with Gladstone Hospital to appoint a strategic and compassionate medical leader as Director of Medical Services (DMS) for the Gladstone and Banana region of Central Queensland.This is a rare and career-defining opportunity to step into a senior leadership role where your decisions will have a direct and lasting impact on regional health outcomes, workforce stability, and community care.The PositionThis full-time, fixed-term (24 months) position gives you the scope to lead medical services across a diverse set of health facilities. Youll oversee Gladstone Hospital a regional base hospital with more than 100 treatment spaces as well as the Banana Health Service, including Biloela Hospital and surrounding multipurpose health centres.Working closely with a committed and highly skilled team, youll guide clinical strategy, workforce planning, medical governance, and operational oversight. This is a leadership role with reach, purpose, and real opportunity for long-term change.Dates AvailableStart date negotiable. 24-month full-time fixed term contract.Benefits ProvidedThis position offers a total remuneration package of up to $589,155 p.a., including:Base salary up to $266,677 p.a.
