The APT team is a dynamic and expanding group based in the Hobart CBD.The focus of our newest team is to lead the implementation of systems supporting statewide accreditation readiness for NSQHS, Aged Care, NDIS, and other health service accreditation surveys across the Tasmanian Public Health Service. The team will mentor, monitor quality improvement, and conduct assessments to ensure the public health service continues to provide excellent care. You will work alongside a passionate and diverse team committed to the Tasmanian Health Service CARE values: Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence.The Role:The Senior Program Officer Accreditation Preparation, based in Hobart, will provide high-level statewide project and program management support to the Manager Accreditation Preparation. Responsibilities include monitoring and implementing quality improvement activities to help public health services meet accreditation standards. Candidates should have extensive health industry experience and knowledge of accreditation.Key Responsibilities:Provide high-level project and program management support related to complex accreditation, policy, and service delivery, aligned with Australian national standards.Conduct onsite assessments and report on the accreditation status of health services, which may require travel within Tasmania.Support quality improvement, safety committees, and undertake data research, reporting, and trend analysis to support program management.Note: Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all selection criteria to address in your application.Why Tasmania?The Department of Health Tasmania oversees hospitals including Royal Hobart Hospital, Launceston General Hospital, and others, along with district hospitals and ambulance services.
