Reporting to the Senior Venue Manager, you will oversee the hotels on-premise operations, be the face of the hotel, and build customer and supplier relationships. Our Venue Managers aim to deliver excellent guest experiences by leading from the front, developing teams, and driving service standards.About youYou have experience successfully leading and developing passionate teams.You have previous managerial experience in a multi-faceted, high-performing hotel operation, including driving sales in food, beverage, gaming, functions, and accommodation.You have a passion for the hospitality industry and are looking to further your career and understand the industry from an independently owned pub group.You prioritize customer service and creating positive experiences.You are highly motivated, driven, and know how to create a safe, welcoming environment for customers and staff.ResponsibilitiesLead and develop a successful management team across all facets of the business, including gaming, wagering, food, bars, functions, and accommodation.Engage, control, and maintain processes, people, and tasks effectively.Set, maintain, and monitor high standards of service and venue presentation.Identify opportunities and plan and deliver business, event, and promotional strategies to positively impact the business.Manage financials, including stock control, rostering, expenses, marketing, promotions, and wastage, to achieve profit targets.At Star Hotels, we believe in developing our people professionally and personally.
